One more time about Pete Rose, gambling, PED's and the HOF

Yesterday's post was very popular. I occasionally re-post items that reach that status and am doing so today. Charlie Hustle remains one of my favorite players and characters of all-time, be that as it may...

Pete Rose is always a compelling interview. His comments today about his career, gambling, and the future of the game were evergreen.

I was a long-time fan, had the chance to meet him in the Phillies' locker room many years ago, was conflicted about how the ban played out, and still think he deserves to be in the HOF.

The newest point that came up today involved the fact that Rose's gambling never inflated his stats. Every player who used HGH, steroids, etc. did pump-up their own numbers.

A strong thank you to everyone who has been downloading my eBook:

These stories were specifically written for people who like to read, but don't have much time to do actually do so. Humor, horror, mystery, adventure, travel, sports and a few selected stories are all wrapped inside this mini-tome.

Some readers like to write reviews of the book on the Amazon site as well. All comments are welcomed. Well, the good ones are, lol, but you know what I mean.

Thank you for visiting my blog. If there is any way that I can help you, feel free to connect with me and let me know:
