A Game 2 win would be quite nice.
So much easier to skate on the Devils Thursday night ice.

Phillies

The Phillies on-again, off-again offense was on last night against the Cubs.

This ebb and flow groove the team is in actually is better than earlier times this season. So, at least they 'seem' to be doing better.


Baseball cards

For those of us who are old enough to remember When Baseball Cards were King, the spring is always a special time of year.

That time of year always included Topps newest edition of cards. Bygone days spent with elementary school days and family members opening packs of cardboard gold never truly fade away.

Now the Flyers must deal with the Devil(s). Umm.

Brodeur, Elias and the rest. Not a preferred opponent in my book, but that might simply be old memories kicking in.

As the NHL playoffs are so unpredictable, who knows how many games this series goes - or who the final victor will be.
