Who Killed J.R. Ewing?

Patrick Duffy knows who killed J.R. Ewing

Last's nights memorial and funeral for J.R. Ewing, which was shown on TNT's rebooted "Dallas" was superb.

The resolution to the ultimate mystery will be revealed by episode 15, which is also the final episode of this season.

Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing) said that he was informed by executive producer (Cynthia Cidre) what the resolution to the mystery will be so that he could know how to play certain crucial scenes. He also said that the resolution to this ultimate mystery has been crafted with dignity, respect and surprise.

Along with all long-time fans of the show, I'm looking forward to seeing how everything plays out and wish our beloved Dallas' family the best through many more seasons.

Here is my most recent Yahoo feature article on Dallas and the Legacy of J.R. Ewing.

Dallas: J.R. Ewing - The Memorial

All Hail J.R. Ewing

The iconic CBS television show "Dallas" is experiencing a fine rebirth during its second season on TNT, which I believe is a part of the same parent company.

As all fans of the series know, Larry Hagman passed away in November 2012. With that in mind the producer had to make a choice as to how to handle the J.R. Ewing character's future.

No one could ever supplant Hagman's portrayal of the ultimate bad guy and so it was determined to have another cliffhanger where J.R. is shot. This time it appears to be fatal, as a memorial will be held at 9 p.m. EST.

Before anyone passes judgement on this plot line choice, let's see how it plays out. Also keep in mind that Hagman himself likely had a hand in deciding the fate of his character.

Here is my most recent Yahoo feature article on Dallas and the Legacy of J.R. Ewing.

Who Will Kill J.R. Ewing on Dallas?

Dallas and the Death of J.R. Ewing

Yes, it's true. Rumors have apparently been confirmed by the TNT show's producer that the character of J.R. Ewing will be killed off this season.

As we all know, beloved actor Larry Hagman passed away on November 23, 2012. The well-received reboot of the icon television show was about to premiere it's second season two months later.

"Who Shot J.R.?" was considered the greatest cliffhanger in television history when that plot line played out on the original CBS show.

This time around, J.R.'s actual death will surely be lamented by everyone who revered the actual man who made the best television villain of all-time come to life.

All hail the great life of Larry Hagman! He is surely looking down on all of us right now.

The return of "Dallas" tonight on TNT is bittersweet, due to Larry Hagman's recent death. Here is a link to a recent TV feature that I wrote Dallas, Hagman, J.R. Ewing and another famous cliffhanger:
