Baseball Cards

This article consistently ranks among the most popular of the 1,400+ features that I've been fortunate to have published since February, 2011...

Baseball cards

Bygone days spent with elementary school days and family members opening packs of Topps cardboard gold never truly fade away.

Here is my special feature that highlights many of our childhood memories:
When Baseball Cards were King.

Topps Hockey Card Mystery is Revealed
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Classic Headline: Three Flyers' Legends

Each of these Flyers' legends (Brian Propp, Dave Poulin and Tim Kerr) deserved their own feature article:

Classic Headline Topic: Bernie Parent interview

Based upon strong response, I'm re-posting the links to my series about interviewing Bernie Parent.

Here is a link to Part 1 in my series about that interview:

Here is a link to Part 2 in my series about that interview:
Philadelphia Flyers' Bernie Parent: Pregame Preparations

Here is a link to Part 3 in my series about that interview:
Philadelphia Flyers' Bernie Parent: Postgame Reflections
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Classic Headline Topic: MMA Phenomena

I encourage fans of any sport to attend one of these events when you can. The excitement of the crowd and the efforts of the fighters will likely win you over to this superb athletic adventure.

Here is my most recent feature article about a live XFE Cage Wars event that I attended.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recent Headline Topic: Eagles and RGIII
Let me be very brief: If the Eagles had drafted someone like RGIII, would the world look vastly different right now? Of course.

The draft is so critical. Clearly, this area of the Eagles' operation has not been consistently good enough over the years. Regardless of a team's record, quality players must be added each season.

Injuries only provide a certain percentage of an 'explanation' for where this organization has gone during the past two seasons.

A new infusion of decision-makers is needed at a variety of levels in Eagle-town. Then, they will need a few years to have their plans work.

God and Christmas: Non-Believers and Believers

Non-believers have always believed that they are more aware of reality and more enlightened about history than Christians.

I say Merry Christmas to one and to all. :-)

I also encourage anyone to watch "The Nativity Story" (2006). I've never seen a more realistic portrayal of this "story".

God bless every social media friend out there.

I wish you all well and thank you for continuing to read my digitally translated thoughts.
