(Courage) Maddie: Teaching Tolerance with a Smile

My soon-to-be-released illustrated children's book is about a girl who has Alopecia.

This story reveals the courage of one young lady and how she and her family responded to life in a positive way.

Tomorrow, I will talk about how Maddie's parents are helping to change the world.

Here is a special feature that highlights many of our collective childhood memories:  When Baseball Cards were King.

Each season, when opening day has almost arrived, I always find myself thinking about bygone spring days spent with elementary school days and family members. Playing the game with them on any field, or in our backyards, remains vivid in my mind.

After a game we would often enjoy buying packs of Topps cards, or simply sifting through our current mountains of cardboard gold.

Some Women Are Like Mary, While Others Are Like Eve

Mary and Eve

The modern "Eve" won't tolerate any man talking to her in anything but a subservient tone.

The modern "Mary" balances logic with emotion.

Everyone is equal.

All "open-minded" people claim to believe that. Because I think that's a fact, I have the ability to write about any topic with the same equality of purpose as anyone else, right?

Radical thoughts have existed in every age. "Progressive" thought, or "Conservative" ideas are both ancient forms of expression.

Mary was someone who is believed to have been pure of heart. She was open to serving others and all of humankind.

Eve was the opposite. Let's leave it at so that we don't get off-track.

That segment of the gender who trend towards Mary aren't offended by me stating this truth.

That segment of the gender who trend towards Eve have read every word I've written with emotional condescension at the center of their sexist, arrogant, fully closed minds.

Of course, there are some women who are a mix of Mary and Eve, just as there are men who are a mix of Jesus and Judas.

My point today only needs to be made to those who are Eve, or who struggle with trying to get away from that element within their personalities.

To all who are Eve at this moment: This post wasn't written because one of your kind did something against me recently. The misguided thoughts you were having in that direction is why I wrote this piece. It also isn't a response to every sexist, anti-male piece
of nonsense that has been conveyed by anyone throughout human history.

It's not about someone else, it's about you.

Until you realize how right these digital "Bible verses" are, you will continue to live empty, self-centered lives.

Professional Wrestling Replay

Grudge Match

Due to the strong response that yesterday's post received, the wrestling feature listed below is reappearing in a return "grudge" match.

I grew up learning to love the "human cartoon" that was and is professional wrestling. Many a fine Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons (once a month on PRISM) were spent partaking in this legendary sport.
Here's a link to very popular offbeat feature that's sure to make you laugh:
