Phillies - Micahel Stutes looks a bit gassed. Plus, the League has had a chance to figure him out. Best to limit his role for awhile if Manuel can. Lidge's importance will be huge down the stretch, as he will supplant Stutes soon.
Polanco's sports hernia is exactly what made Ibanez ineffective for a very long period of time. If he can't return to top form, Amaro has to get a veteran infielder. I like Martinez a lot, but the team can't gamble that he will be able to survive October's pressure.
