A Rangers win over the Senators and a Double OT win by the Devils against the Panthers sets up an Eastern only trek through the spring for the Flyers within the Eastern Conference.
One of the best goalies of all-time (Brodeur) and the best goalie this season (Lundqvist) are in Philadelphia's playoff path as they try to reach the Final. In order to get to the next round and face those Rangers, a series win over the Devils and a NY win over the Caps must take place.
Very interesting spring days my friends.

The Doctor throws tonight against the Cubs. Saying that Halladay throws is hardly accurate, but you get the message.

Nice trade to get the Seattle Seahawks number 12 pick and then take DT Fletcher Cox.
Wouldn't it be great if he, or some other player could channel the character of DB Brian Dawkins? That type of character can give any team a chance at a title.

Early season off day. Hopefully the recent offensive outburst continues and the Phillies can get themselves above .500 (and then stay there).

Wow! What a first round playoff series! We expected a bloody battle with the Pittsburgh Penguins, but got so much more than that.
It will be interesting to see who the second round opponent will be, because a more defensive-oriented team should create a different type of contest. As to how round 2 goes, is anyone's guess.

This inconsistent lineup is a killer to watch. I wonder how the 'party crowd' at Citizens Bank Park will react this summer if a slight majority of games don't end in victory?
