Jimmy Rollins will be leading off when the Phillies play their first game against FSU on Wednesday.
This team has enough to win the World Series, despite what happened in 2010 and 2011.
If Manuel can work his roster in just the right way, the offense will be better. If Halladay, Lee and Hamels start 30+ games each, their sixth division crown won't be a problem. If Papelbon and the rest of the pen all fall into place, the middle and late innings will go smoothly. If the bench is helpful this season, the positional starters will be properly supplemented.
If the team stays relatively healthy, they will be fresh in October.
Worried about too many ifs in 2012? You shouldn't be. All teams have them.
