Paul Holmgren wanted Shea Weber, but didn't get him. This hurts.
It will be interesting to see if he goes after another significant defenseman now, or waits until the trade deadline.
Phillies
Boy, it seems likely that the Phils won't be able to get enough wins to make the playoffs this season.
But, Amaro may very well revamp this team on the fly as long as he can re-sign Hamels. That agreement (or lack thereof) will set the course for this franchise for years.

For those of us who are old enough to remember When Baseball Cards were King, the spring is always a special time of year.
