Flyers

Massive offers to New Jersey Devils free agent Zach Parise and Nashville Predators free agent Ryan Suter that are apparently higher than any other competitor's pitch.

Will either, or both, agree to become a 'Bullie' as a result?

Both to the Wild? The Penguins? Other Places? Do they go different places?

July 4th decision? Who knows.

Phillies

Each passing day that the Phillies don't make progress toward a playoff position seems to inevitably bring them closer to making a series of trades.

Unless a dramatic turnaround takes place within the next two weeks, I expect Ruben Amaro Jr. to behave like he is Pat Gillick circa 2006 - trading off some pieces, obtaining other major league-ready talent.

Not a rebuild in the making, but a revamp, with the intent of coming right back next season.

Baseball cards

For those of us who are old enough to remember When Baseball Cards were King, the spring is always a special time of year.

Bygone days spent with elementary school days and family members opening packs of Topps cardboard gold never truly fade away.

Hockey

Here is a hockey story that all ice fans will like: The mystery behind these 1970s Topps hockey cards is revealed.
