Lee will be kept, at least through the offseason, because the Dodgers' waiver claim was not followed by a trade by yesterday's deadline. Thank goodness!
I look forward to seeing the three aces roll again next season. (Hopefully Ruben Amaro, Jr. doesn't get any creative Lee-themed ideas at the Winter Meetings.)
Flyers
Extending Laviolette's contract was the expected and right move. Hopefully the season starts on time and he has a more healthy squad to lead this season.
