Remember the old Rolodex? For those who aren't "of a certain age", it was a circular plastic item that contained paper cards. The cards had your business contact names written, or typed, onto them.
Making connections through blogs, Facebook, Twitter and the other digital brand names is very similar. However, you must always maintain a fluid strategy for growing your "circle" of associates in today's modern world. (Which actually isn't all that different than the land of yesterday.)
Never stop seeking evolving resources. Use them to promote your brand, while always keeping in mind an old rule of thumb:
If you are genuine about helping others most people will want to help you.
