Philadelphia Eagles' new head coach Chip Kelly just might succeed

Philadelphia Eagles new head coach

I would like to step back a bit from my recent post about how soon the Eagles might return to prominence.

After hearing many people denounce the Eagles' choice of Chip Kelly as their new head coach, I'm wondering if the contrarian view will prevail.

This guy really seems to have spirit and a winning attitude. Yes, the Eagles might not go 16-0, win every playoff game and then take the Super Bowl one year from now. But, don't EVER dismiss someone who has passion for his chosen profession.

People can cite all the football jargon that they want. Let's see how he fills out his coaching staff, how the draft goes, what other players he adds and how his first few seasons go and then take it from there.
