Quick Reads and Other Stuff on Amazon.com

These stories were specifically written for people who like to read, but don't have much time to do actually do so. Humor, horror, mystery, adventure, travel, sports and a few selected stories are all wrapped inside this mini-tome.

Some readers like to write reviews of the book on the Amazon site as well. All comments are welcomed. Well, the good ones are, lol, but you know what I mean.

Philadelphia Eagles new head coach

I would like to step back a bit from my recent post about how soon the Eagles might return to prominence.

After hearing many people denounce the Eagles' choice of Chip Kelly as their new head coach, I'm wondering if the contrarian view will prevail.

This guy really seems to have spirit and a winning attitude. Yes, the Eagles might not go 16-0, win every playoff game and then take the Super Bowl one year from now.

But, don't EVER dismiss someone who has passion for his chosen profession. People can cite all the football jargon that they want. Let's see, how he fills out his coaching staff, how the draft goes, what other players he adds and how his first few seasons play out and take it from there.
