Now Phillies Need a New Hamels Deal to Dawn

Phillies

The one-year deal that the Phillies reached with Cole Hamels today avoids a full blow arbitration hearing and keeps the great lefty in town for at least the 2012 season.

All Phillies fans need to hope that an announcement is made, at some point in-season, that states that a new deal has dawned.

Sign him to a five year deal as soon as is realistically possible. He is a once-in-a-long-time pitcher.
